About The Author

Con Nguyen was and major in the Vietnamese Air Force. He graduated from the Vietnamese National Military Academy in 1964 and was selected to be an air force pilot student to receive several flight-training classes from schools in the USA.
The author graduated as a helicopter pilot from the US, 1967. He flew CH34-Choctaw as legendary King Bee pilot for the secret missions of US Special Operations in Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia borders along the Ho Chi Minh trails from 1969-1971. He survived after two and a half years from many impossible missions serving the Special Operations.
Con Nguyen later enrolled in the Instruction Pilot course in the US for Chinook, CH47. He helped to form new Chinook squadrons and served as Instructor Pilot, Training Officer, Operations Officer, Vice Squadron Commander, and Acting Commander.
